Changing Places is a local carers' support group that offers information, practical advice and emotional support for people who care for an elderly parent/grandparent with dementia in Buckinghamshire.  We usually meet on the first Wednesday evening of the month at the Bledlow Lions Pub at 7.30pm, and the next dates are detailed on our website.

You may have an elderly parent/grandparent experiencing changes that come after a diagnosis of dementia, or actively looking after an elderly parent/grandparent with dementia. They may live with you in your home, they may live alone or have care in their own homes, or they may have moved into a residential or a nursing care setting.

Everyone caring for an elderly relative is welcome to attend the Changing Places carers' support group. It has been running for 4 years since November 2014, and is full of useful advice and support regarding dementia and care issues.  We have speakers from time to time on a variety of subjects, and also share our caring issues with like minded people in the support group. We share our ongoing concerns with others who have had similar experiences, and in doing this we get support in our important caring roles with carers who really do understand.
